HOW IT WORKS

The Equiwedge helps riders to sit straight by helping to re-distribute the riders’ weight equally on both seat bones, resulting in more equal weight distribution in the stirrups. Try sitting in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Place a book under one seat bone and feel how that has made that side of your body shorter. The same theory is behind the Equiwedge. For example, if when you ride your left shoulder drops and your left heel comes up, you will want the Equiwedge under your right flap; this effectively shortens your right side and lengthens the left side of your body to re-establish even balance.

When changing rein, the left side effectiveness will be the same as the right. The Equiwedge will help to enhance your seatbone awareness.
